Nestled within the large estate, with direct access along Coconut Road is The Colony. This sub-community located conveniently between Naples and Ft Myers offers it’s own private 18-hole course. But don’t let the stunning visuals and world-class amenities fool you – the community and residents have a friendly atmosphere. Of course rounding out all of these benefits is great on-site restaurants.
Amenities The Colony at Pelican Landing
The Colony Golf and Country Club offers an 18 hole course designed by Jerry Pate. The course is challenging but offers number of unique amenities including buggy hire, club rental and beautiful country club to meet in after being on the green all day. As far as restaurant selection – the golf club offers two separate dining facilities including a more casual one that overlooks the golf course itself. The Bay Club is the second dining location and offers two floors of seating for members and guests. One floor boasts formal dining and a more intimate setting while another floor is more casual and offers al fresco dining overlooking the beautiful Estero Bay. With the perfect balance of opulence, approach-ability, and delicious dining options the Bay Club is a wonderful place to dine amid the most gorgeous views Southwest Florida has to offer.
As a Colony resident you’ll be able to enjoy dozens of recreational activities, amazing facilities and attentive and 5-star rated service staff in the community. From tennis courts, to pools to a giant fitness facility to a luxury on-site spa, there is plenty to do, with amenities and facilities that also will help you relax from your daily activities.
But the perks of being a Colony resident don’t stop at the community. If you’re a long-time or new resident of Southwest Florida, it’s important to know that although our beachs are wonderful (top rated in the world) – they can get busy, particularly in season – with some people waiting an hour or more, just to find a parking spot. But, that’s not a problem for The Colony residents, friends, and family as your future residence comes with a membership to the coveted Beach Club. The Beach Club is one of the best perks when you live in The Colony. The Colony’s central location in Estero, as well as it’s location on the bay allow for unconventional, but very convenient beach access. Most residents of Bonita/Estero have to drive 20+ minutes to find parking on the closest beaches (as access is restricted to the South End of Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Springs, or North Naples – at the closest). But, since The Colony is nestled on the bay between the beach and the Florida mainland, it means beach access is quick, private, and available without stepping a foot in the car. A private water shuttle transports residents to Pelican Landing’s private Beach Park – so you never have to leave the community or deal with traffic. The Private Beach Park comes complete with a social gathering area, full-service kitchen, shower and bathroom facilities. So bring your guests and family, and explore the neighboring beach in the best way imaginable.
