    About Bonita Bay

Bonita Bay was created in the 1980s, as a master planned community. It is surrounded by the Imperial River, Estero Bay, and Spring Creek. From its inception, Bonita Bay was designed to blend with its natural surroundings, to be in harmony with an unspoiled ecosystem of 2,400 acres – more than half of which is dedicated to open spaces, parks, and 3 separate community parks including Riverwalk Park, Spring Creek Park, and Estero Bay Park. River-walk Park runs alongside Imperial River, which edges Bonita Bay on the south and provides direct access to Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Located on Spring Creek, one of the area’s most pristine waterways, which runs along the north border of Bonita Bay, Spring Creek Park encourages exploration of Southwest Florida’s natural treasures. This park includes kayak launch and rentals and much more. Estero Bay Park is a 13-acre site is being preserved to share its rich historical and archeological significance.

There are 3 clubs at Bonita Bay including the Bonita Bay Club, Residents Clubs, and the Marina.
